





PubGolf is a gamified pub crawl that aims to make a night out with friends a little more interesting. Embodying the energy of one's early twenties, PubGolf offers a break from the usual weekend routine.

Unlike most pub crawls, which are disorganized, lack any real branding, and just seem like ads for the local pub, PubGolf stands out by balancing a modern, cohesive, and energetic aesthetic. The brand's palette features bold, contrasting colors to ensure an impression of excitement and variety (while subtly referencing the 'Golf' half of the name, of course).

The imagery and illustrations intertwine with the blocky, slab-serif typeface, embodying the boldness and intent of a night out with friends. The logo typeface, noted for its striking and irregular forms, perfectly resonates with the intended twenty-something audience, reflecting both their pathways taken from pub to pub and their dynamic spirit. As a result, PubGolf's brand is an invitation to connectedness and friendly competition, never losing sight of the memories a group of friends can make together.

The PubGolf app is one of the major elements that sets the brand apart. Not only does it provide extensive functionality (course details, drink preferences, group suggestions, messaging, reminders, scoring, etc.), but it manages to do so while maintaining the clean, bold, and engaging aesthetic of the brand.

The app employs striking typography, color, and white space to maintain the standard of energy while being organized (plus it's still easy to use after a few holes of PubGolf...) It's designed to get out of the way while being as functional and adherent to the brand as possible.



PubGolf print ads make use of large imagery and brand's bold colors to draw the eye and stand out. The orange and green colors will rarely blend in or be washed out by their surroundings, ensuring that the high energy and excitement of PubGolf can be felt through the ads. The utilization of large images with minimal text serve to draw the eye and encourage people to investigate what they represent.



The shirts that players can choose to add to their experience serve as obvious indicators of teams, memorabilia, and walking advertisements for the brand at each stop made throughout the game. The bold colors and type (with team names on the backs) help the players distinguish teams while also standing out and catching the eye of non-players.

The PubGolf card is an easier way for players to pay for each round. Instead of everyone individually ordering or paying each other back, players can opt to load up their team card beforehand and use that. It's unique look compared to a credit card serves to get non-players to take notice and inquire what PubGolf is/how it works.
